Study the following example. Let’s assume that you are looking for a Marketing expert job.

You should create a hierarchical field with the name Title and the following hierarchy of values: Marketing expert, analist, marketer.

Pay attention that every word in the hierarchy should start with a new line.

After you bind the created fields with the corresponding drop-down lists in the web page, the application will look through the records in the hierarchy until the first match with one of the values in the drop-down list.

In the screenshots you can see an example of using hierarchical fields:

Task: submit information on the application to one of the numerous software directories. The hierarchical field contains information on the category to which the application belongs.
