Hierarchical fields are somewhat similar to Polymorphs in the sense that they, too, allow you fine-tune, refine and smarten your form-filling experiences. The program uses the values included into hierarchical fields and probes the values one-by-one when auto filling a field until it finds (hopefully) what you need. Say, you're job hunting and seeking a position of a Marketing Expert. So you create a hierarchical filed entitled Position, and create the following hierarchy: Marketing Expert, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Analyst and Marketer.
Please note: Every word in a hierarchy should always begin with a new line.
Click OK to view your hierarchical field. Note, that the field is highlighted green for easy visual identification:
You can use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to position your values correctly, just as you need it.
Then you bind this newly created field to the corresponding filed/drop down on every web page where you view the available job openings and voila! The program will then search for the first term in the hierarchy, then for the second and so on. At least one of the terms should be broad enough to be recognized.
