iNetFormFiller supports working with databases, which allows you to manage your data easier and with greater efficiency, and additionally avoid miscellaneous data confusion.
A database is actually a specially assigned directory on your hard drive that stores all the user information, including profiles, form cards, etc. With iNetFormFiller you create an unlimited number of databases. This might be useful when several people have access to the computer. You can determine the location of the currently used database by taking a look at the status bar at the bottom of the main program window:
To create a new database, click File | Databases | Open database from the main program window. When the dialog box appears, click New folder and specify the name for your new database. Click OK to confirm. The newly created database then becomes the current one and you can start working with it.
In a similar manner you can open an existing database. Just browse for the required folder where your database is stored and click OK to confirm.
The list of the available databases can also be accessed through the File | Databases | Open database menu, right at the bottom of the menu, under the separator. Single-click it to switch to the corresponding database.
As part of a regular backup process, you can backup your databases easily. Simply click File | Databases | Backup database from the main program window and then specify the location where you wish to store your *.bff file.
In a similar way, to restore a previously backuped database be sure to click File | Databases | Restore database from the main program window and then specify the location of the *.bff file you wish to restore.
