The Fuzzy logic words configuration window typically looks as follows:

_bm58

Here's how it works. The fuzzy logic window allows you to work with variants of the same word. These variants or alternatives are called Fuzzy logic synonyms. Take a look at the screen shot above. The Fuzzy logic words list pane contains two words -- plugins and addons. The latter in its turn has two fuzzy synonyms, namely add-ons and add-on's. Your hierarchical fields will then be processed as follows: No matter which word the program encounters when searching for match, if it encounters either of the three (that is, addons, add-ons or add-on's), this is still a match.

Let's take a specific example. If, for instance, you need to autofill a drop down box on a web page that contains an item called Internet Explorer -> Add-ons. You have a hierarchical field bound to that drop down. The field contains a value Internet Explorer - Addons. Since addons and add-ons are treated as one and the same word unit, the drop down will be recognized and processed correctly.

Please refer to the Understanding various field types section of this help for more detail on how hierarchical fields work.

You can use the Replace, Add and Delete buttons to easily manage your fuzzy logic words and synonyms. To replace a specific entry you should first select it by single-clicking it with your mouse, type the replacement entry in the text box, and then click the Replace button.
