Polymorph fields provide a smart tool designed to 'educate' your copy of iNetFormFiller and make it more intelligent. Using Polymorph fields allows you to specify a list of word alternatives, which will be included into the field and scanned by the program for the best match when filling an online web form. Again, let's resort to a specific example to explain the usefulness of Polymorphs. Say, you are surfing the Web in search of a specific application available for download and designed to support Windows NT, 2000 and XP only. It should not run under other Windows operating systems like Windows 9x/Me. You have a number of your favorite software search directories you frequently use. To perform a search, you first have to fill in a number of fields and drop-down boxes and specify a variety of search criteria, including the application category and platform. So you create a new Polymorph field, entitle it Software Platform and bind it to the corresponding drop-down on the web page. By using the button you add Polymorph words to be processed in search for the best match and click OK to confirm.
Please note: Every polymorph word should begin with a new line.
When you click OK, your polymorph field should look as follows (Note that the field is highlighted blue for easy visual identification):
What you do next, is you bind the field to the drop down on a web page, and iNetFormFiller analyzes the contents of the drop down to find the most relevant match and autofill the drop down like any other field, only more intellectually.
So if, for instance, the drop down contains items like:
Windows 9x
Windows 9x/Me
Windows NT/2000/XP
Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP
...the program will choose the Windows NT/2000/XP value as the most relevant. Note, that it doesn't matter whether the drop down items begin with/contains Win or Windows.
