Profiles make an extremely powerful tool that lets you customize your work with online web forms to a degree no similar software allows.

A profile in iNetFormFiller can be described as an entirety of certain settings, including primarily specific groups and fields.

Profiles are useful when you need to classify different kinds of information you work with. For instance, you can create a profile for credit card payment online, or a profile for job hunting, each with specific groups and field values. Apart from this, profiles come in even handier when you have two or more identical profiles (i.d. that have the same groups, fields etc.) that are used to quickly fill in a web form with different information. For instance, you might want to create a profile entitled Visa for online payments with this credit card. Then you simply clone this profile and label it Master Card. You slightly modify it, and next time when you make a payment online and decide to pay with your Master Card rather than Visa, you only have to switch profiles for that.

To easily create an identical profile be sure to right-click the desired profile and use the Clone profile item from the context menu:

Please note: When you clone a specific profile, you exactly copy both its structure and all the data stored within it.

To create a new profile be sure to do the following:

·    Open the main program window;
·    Click Tools | New profile. Alternatively, simply click the _bm29 button on the program's toolbar;
·    Specify the name of the new profile;
·    Click OK to create a new profile;

When you create a new profile it is automatically displayed in the profiles list pane of the main program window. Please notice that the profile you are working with (that is, the current profile) is marked in a special way, like this _bm6. Such a profile is called active, or current. That means, all the changes you made to the current groups and/or fields are stored in this profile, unless the otherwise configured. To switch to another profile, simply select the desired profile in the pane and then click the _bm7 button on the iNetFormFiller toolbar.

When you select a certain profile the configuration pane gets enabled and you can customize your profile and tailor it for some specific needs like job hunting, for example. The button labels of the configuration pane are pretty self-explanatory so feel free to experiment and explore.

There is another interesting profile relate option that can be accessed through the right-click profile context menu -- Set default form card as in.

First selecting a profile and then pointing your mouse cursor to this menu item allows you to select a profile from the list of the available ones and set its default form card as default for the currently used profile.
