Database
A database is actually a specially assigned directory on your hard drive that stores all the user information, including profiles, form cards, etc. With iNetFormFiller you can create an unlimited number of databases. This might be useful when several people have access to the computer. You can determine the location of a database by taking a look at the status bar at the bottom of the main program window.
Form Card
A form card is basically a filled in and saved online web form you can access and edit from within the environment of iNetFormFiller. All the available form cards are displayed in the form cards pane of the main program window.
For more information on form cards please refer to the Saving a web page to a form card section of this Help.
Profile
A profile in iNetFormFiller can be described as an entirety of certain settings, including primarily specific groups and fields.
Profiles are useful when you need to classify different kinds of information you work with. For instance, you can create a profile for credit card payment online, or a profile for job hunting, each with specific groups and field values. Apart from this, profiles come in even handier when you have two or more identical profiles (i.d. that have the same groups, fields etc.) that are used to quickly fill in a web form with different information. For instance, you might want to create a profile entitled Visa for online payments with this credit card. Then you simply clone this profile and label it Master Card. You slightly modify it, and next time when you make a payment online and decide to pay with your Master Card rather than Visa, you only have to switch profiles for that.
For more information on profiles please refer to the Using profiles section of this Help.
Synonym
In iNetFormFiller context, a synonym is an alternative word used by the program to correctly determine the type of field on a web page (e.g. a password box, an e-mail box, etc.). You can add synonyms to any field you like thus making it possible for iNetFormFiller to 'learn'.
As an example, say, iNetFormFiller failed to recognize and hence automatically fill in a certain field because the field was labeled in a non-standard way. Let's assume it was a password box and it was labelled user instead of, say, login or password or something else. In this case consider adding a few synonyms to this field (like name, username, user name user, pass etc.) to help iNetFormFiller expand its knowledge.
For more information on synonyms please refer to the Using field synonyms section of this Help.
