The binding feature allows you -- exactly as the name suggests -- to bind a filed in a certain profile within iNetFormFiller to a specific online web form field. In this manner you can, for example, assign the Additional Information field on a certain web site the value of the e-mail filed in one of your profiles, so whenever you visit this web site and fill in the available web forms, iNetFormFiller will automatically insert the value of the e-mail field from one of your profiles into the Additional Information box on a web page.
Such a mechanism provides a flexible tool for automatic web forms completion.
You can always easily identify the bound fields whenever you encounter them since iNetFormFiller highlights such fields blue by default:
Use the Bind and Unbind buttons on the Internet Explorer toolbar to bind and unbind fields. Clicking the Bind button displays the Bind field dialog box allowing you to select a profile filed to bind to:
Select the field you need and click OK to confirm. Alternatively, you can simply double-click a profile without having to click OK.
Should you need to unbind a web form field from its corresponding field in iNetFormFiller, simply place the mouse cursor into the field on a page and click the Unbind button on the Internet Explorer toolbar. The field highlighting will then disappear.
Please note:When you bind a field from a profile -- it is always the active profile you are working with. When automatically filling an online web form, the data will also be taken from the active profile. This means that if switch profiles and make another profile active, iNetFormFiller will search for an identical field in the newly active profile, and if it founds one, this field will get bound to the corresponding field on a web page. For example, if you create a field called E-mail and bind it to some other field elsewhere on the web and then start using another profile with the same field -- that other field will also get bound to the corresponding field on a web page, and will be highlighted blue.
